We are delighted to introduce our new gin release from the Seasonal Range – Winter 2024. Our Seasonal range of small-batch gins is a showcase of the amazing ingredients available on our doorstep throughout the year, with every botanical hand-gathered from Scotland. As the botanicals for each batch are only picked in their peak season, when they're gone, they're gone!

This release hopes to show that even at the coldest and most bleak time of the year, incredible flavours can still be found in Scotland. Distilled with zesty, bitter-sweet Sea Buckthorn Berries, picked in East Lothian, and piquant and intense truffle Pepper Dulse Seaweed, gathered on the Scottish West Coast.

Savoury and tangy, this maritime-inspired gin will appeal strongly to fans of island gins. It's different to our previous Seasonal Winter release, but at the same time, there is the same depth of complexity, where the gin moves slowly from the front to the back of your taste buds, creating a well-balanced and appetizing gin experience.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, there are big and bold notes of bitter-sweet, juicy berries, almost like sultanas.

On the palate, you get an intense hit of truffle notes and salty pepper from the seaweed. Moving to the sides of your tongue, you get a hint of sweetness from the slightly higher rosehip content.

On the finish, the bold flavours of the seaweed mellow down slowly enveloping the berries, as the hint of brine combines with the tangy sweetness to give you a nicely balanced sweet and savoury finish.

Serving Suggestions

Works brilliantly as a dirty martini, as well as in other cocktails. We recommend serving with a Mediterranean tonic and an olive and rosemary spear as a garnish. For a luxury option, serve with a fresh Loch Fyne oyster on the side.
